What Our Winners Are Saying About Us... |
Jenna KoolWhen I came to Redlands Community College to be a part of their equestrian team, I quickly learned that my legs weren't the same length, solely because my hips were out of place. This also caused lower back pain and other problems I thought I just had to deal with if I wanted to continue riding. Then I was introduced to Farley and her knowledge of physical therapy combined with horses, riding and showing. She understood exactly what I needed physically, and how it would effect my riding. Because of her, I was able to ride much better, pain free, and ultimately become a very successful part of the team! Farley was extremely great to work with and I love how she could connect with us as equestrians, not just as another athlete. I would definitely recommend going to see Farley, she's made a huge difference for me and she can for you as well!

Stormy BowersWhen your body is your most important tool showing horses, it is important to make sure everything is functionally properly and painlessly. Physical therapy is a great way to do this. I make sure it is done for both myself and my horse, Nikki. Farley is intuitive about the human body and will advise you on proper stretches to do for riding, and makes a great difference, especially when building up strength and flexibility for a horse show. My shoulders changed from being slumped to being back and tall.

Jessica ParrisFarley is unique. She’s a HUMAN Physical Therapist. Who works on humans and equine. She’s a unique practitioner, and building her practice in our industry. Lots of people work on horses. But how many are FULLY EDUCATED versus “took a course”? How many of us owners and TRAINERS hurt every day? Farley can help you. And your horse. Physical therapy ISN’T just for after a surgery. I’m hoping to get her to come to some of the larger circuits next year...where she can help horses and riders. How many of us twist our body in Horsemanship? Fight to keep our leg under us? Slightly slump? She’s helped me with all of that! She’s helped my trainer with hand/arm pain, various pain that trainers just live with, etc. She’s a great resource. Contact her through her page. She’s really good at answering questions and thinking through things.
